Prospective Delegates and Executive Board members,

 

It gives me immense pleasure and honor to invite you all to the first ever Model United Nations (MUN) that shall be hosted by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) on the weekend of November 8-10, 2013 in the

‘temple city of India’, Bhubaneswar.

As an institution committed to excellence and

exposing students to a challenging environment,

KIIT MUN 2013 promises to be motley of

intense brainstorming, and social fun and entertainment.

 

It is our honest endeavor to provide a three day long

experience of enriching debates and inspiring agendas.

For beginners, it’s a golden opportunity to be a part of

the ever growing MUNing circuit and hone their rhetoric skills. It is also a good chance to exchange opinions with other delegates belonging to diverse backgrounds and understand the role of the United Nations in the contemporary world. KIIT MUN 2013 will test the abilities of the entrants with regards to global and thought provoking crises. As such, the delegates will need to expand their world view on a multitude of topics. Our primary goal, thus, is to integrate as many different people as possible on issues of paramount importance in sync with our tagline- ‘When diplomacy ends, war begins’.

     Our team of almost 50 members will work around the clock to ensure a smooth functioning of all the conferences. A handful of finest individuals with previous MUNing knowledge under their belt shall carefully choose topics so that the participants discuss some of the burning international affairs.

Last but not the least, by giving your consent for the KIIT MUN 2013, you shall represent the change you wish to see in the world because it is the youth which can build a safer, more just world by promoting the UN values and principles.
